It is a 3914678 block, date C 6 7 and on the pad VII27HT, no VIN.
I belive this is a 1967 327 350hp but..............??

That's a 1968 327/350hp L-79, made on November 27, 1967; with no VIN, it's most likely a Service replacement engine assembly.
I dont have the block numbers
but the 67 vette L79 block # is 3892657
C = March
6 = Day
7 = year
V - engine assembly plant 0I - plant designator
I27 - model year
HT - 327-350 Manual transmission
That is the month and day, i.e., II or 11 - November and 27 - 27th.
Now that is one long stretch to be sitting somewhere. If it had a March casting date and a November assembly date, what was it doing for 8 months? Even if it was a G instead of C, it was still sitting for 4 months.
It is the casting date that puzzels me. It really looks like a C, but it isn`t that legible. Could be a K with the left part missing, maybe? That would make sense. Cast nov. 6, assembly nov. 27, BUT it really looks like a C.....
