stud

on a 66 327/300 is the alt bracket attached to the waterpump with a double threaded stud or a regular bolt ?
I'm trying to get this thing on the road and nothing seems to be going right .
I looked for pictures , none were very clear . checked the ncrs book, didnt show it . arrrrhhhhh

On a 65 327/300, it's a bolt. I assume you mean the brace.

Bolt. See your Assembly Manual, UPC 6, sheet A2, item #8 & 9. The bolt isn't painted orange.
