It's a 90 on my 65, probably the same on a 66

The coupe uses a 90 for the dome lamp as well.

The convertible uses a 90 for the lamp in the top stowage area.

As Jeff highlights, you should have three. It amazing how many folks with convertibles don't realize they have one in the back..... ask me how I know!!

Be careful with the one in the back. The bulb will get hot enough to burn clothing bags. Ask me how I know

After it burned bag as I was loading the car (doors open, courtesy lights on), I went to a flaps and got a generic flat enclosed assembly to replace it.

Great suggestion. It hasn't happened to me yet but I can see how easily it would.

Apparently, I have the very rare" rear courtesy light delete" option in my vert.

Good question... Anyone? I've never fooled around with LEDs. Do they make they with a socket base, or do you have to modify the light?

They do make a bayonet base led bulbs but I don't yet know the output or the exact number. When I get back to Cal if will look at my 64 and see if a 1157 or 1156 style will work. There is lots of led lights if you google led car lights.
