Getting ready to paint my engine compartment. What kind of paint should I use and who supplies it,I guess a Qt. should be enough to spay on. Thanks Tom
SEM Trim Black is a terrific paint, but it's NOT meant to be used under hood. It is not oil and gas safe(ask me how I know). I would use something like Eastwood's under hood black. It will not react to gas.

We see a lot of restorers use the John Deere under hood/Engine Compartment Satin Black Paint Kit The paint kit is used to spray under hood, engine compartment, firewall and wheel housings with the correct satin black finish. The kit includes a quart of Satin Black paint, a pint of Catalyst Hardener and a pint of Reducer. Originally sold as a Tractor paint our customers have found this paint to be the absolute best in the correct color and sheen for the engine compartments.
Price is $40/kit

I've been using Eastwoods new ceramic paint and it is terrific! Unbelievable durability. Comes in gloss and satin finish and uses a hardner. It adheres better and stronger than any other paint I've come across.
