I am doing up a '66 that was originally M Maroon but none of the original color can be found on this car. I've gone to several shows and no Maroon vettes have showed up.
Question: Is '66 Milano Maroon a metalic color?
Thanks.
I have a gallon of Milano Maroon laquer paint if anyones interested. Never opened and I don't plan on using it.
Not trying to hijack the thread, but to those that PM'd about the paint I've responded. It's the 1965 color in PPG Acrylic Lacquer.
I think the 66 color was a little different maybe? The pics shared of the MM cars sure look nice, a real classy color. Maybe I should paint my 65 MM since I have a gallon of the color already!
Texas, I appreciate your input and if I was going to paint the car myself I'd go lacquer because that is all I used in the past. Recently I have studied the urethanes and plan on taking the certification course. Possibly sneak my own car into the booth for the class..... now that sounds dangerous!
1sweet, seeing your photos does support my decision to keep the car the factory color....except.... my interior was black also.... now it is saddle. I had to give wifey some input to the hobby!
