Default Clamps

I am trying to figure out which clamps go on the short hose from the overflow tank to the tee. The AM shows the spring style at the tee but does not show which style at the tank nipple. Long Island sells the band style for both but that conflicts with the AM. Could use a little help.

Thanks

Mark, on my 67, same engine, they are both the spring clamps. I think the name is a corbin clamp. Hope this helps. Bill.

Bill and Mark:

A corbin clamp is found on a lot of lawn mowers. It is the flat band clamp that can be installed with a pair of pliers by holding the three tabs together while you slip it over the hose and then when you release the tabs one side has two and the other side has a single in the center of the two.

Rich, thanks for the info re corbin clamp. I have seen them. Is there a name for the spring type we're talking about? Bill

Default You might want to recheck the AIM

the clamps for the short hose are screw clamp-style, just like LICS sells.
Check AIM UPC 11-13, sheet A5.

I try to remember to install this shorty hose on the tank BEFORE putting the tank in.

And Corbin clamps are the spring WIRE style, as used on your heater hoses.

Here is a photo (not the best) of the back side of the band clamp.
