Al Knoch is close by in Tex. Send the seats to him for resto. The seat hockey sticks can be replaced or rechromed by yourself. You WILL need new foam and maybe some spring work. Are the seat back OK, if not, you need new ones. You can remove the seat tracks and clean/re-lube them yourself. You can get his door panels and use your stainless hardware. Ask for detail pricing before you commit. Research some other vendor for $$ comparison. Dennis

Thanks for the info!
Seat tracks on one seat appear to be rusted out almost completely, barely anything left at all.
Anyone done this recently? Got any price estimates you can share?
Paragon lists the new seat tracks/adjuster to fit a '65 at $145.00 ea. Call them and ask about used ones. Any Vette events/parts corrals in your area? If so, you might find some there. Check E-bay, Google search. Good luck! Dennis

With that much rust, have you checked the condition of your birdcage?
Body off restoration started with dipped and powder coated frame then every chassis component installed was either new or professionally refurbished. Got a real good look at the birdcage when the front end was replaced with a Sermersheim and then shot with Glasurit paint.
I have docs back to the original owner, but can't be sure if the seats were in the car while it sat so for many years.
Here's where it sits now...

That's fortunate. GL with your project...outstanding paint.
Corvetta America has great interiors. Get their catalog and call Wilcox with for prices. You should save considerably over the CA prices. I had my seat frames sand blasted. I primed and painted them and had new burlap and buns put under the new leather skins. My local interior shop covered the seats for about $250. They came out great. Jerry
Tampa Jerry, do you mean the labor charge was $250 to put new seat covers on. Or did it mean the total cost including materials was $250?
Thanks, fast jimmy
I just di this on my 65 got all new interior from Willcox in leather. Can not ask to come out any better and hundreds cheaper than the other 2 places. You will not go wrong with WILLCOX stuff man....
