Default front bumper replacement

I am in need of just the RH side front bumper for my 66. I have tried to buy some that were rechromed but they were bent and do not fit properly. Any advice on who has the best units. I checked with CA and they only have Imported bumpers to sell individually. Wilcox, Corvette Central, Paragon and LIC all have units. Anyone have any thoughts on whose are the best? I ordered a unit from Paragon and I was not overly impressed with their unit.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Steve

From what I have heard, Paragon bumpers are about the best new bumpers you can buy, and everything else is imported from China. I know they are made using the original GM tooling, and they are wavy just like the originals. What exactly was the problem with them.... chrome plating? fit? If you have original bumpers that fit your car, probably your best bet is to send them out to be rechromed.

The right one was bent. The lower mount was collapsed and no one straightens them any longer. All they do is rechrome them and send them back out. The Paragon unit that I got was really wavy. My original bumpers did not have any waves in them. Only problem was that the right hand side was to thin for rechroming. That was why I ordered a Paragon unit. Then I found out that both of my original bumpers were bent in the lower mount area and when I had the left side rechromed they did not straighten it. Now I am sitting with a re-po on the drivers side and nothing on the passenger side. I can't seem to find two units that fit the same and look the same for the chrome finish.
