Default Engine diagnostic

I have a Chevy 1997 L31 vortec 350 that I planned on using in a project. The engine ran smooth before removing it from the donor. I decided to perform a leak down test. I have some air pressure exiting cylinder 2 exhaust port when I test cylinder 1. Is this from an egr port? Or a cracked block. Really has me stumped. My next step is have the block magnifluxed and sonic tested. Any ideas?

Cylinder 2 as in first cylinder in passenger side bank #2 or the next cylinder in the same bank as #1(#3)? If its #3 it could be a head gasket failure between the cylinders or a cylinder wall failure. If it's #2... I have no idea!

it is cylinder 1 and 2 so the cylinders are not on the same bank. That is why i suspect egr the other thing iin common is the intake
