Default Max Lead 2000 use

A guy I met at a car show that has a 57 fuelie gave me a quart of Max Lead 2000.
He said it helped with his fuel percolation.
Before I give it a try has anyone here on the forum used it?
Any opinion on whether it will raise the boiling point of the fuel to help summer driving?

Snake oil. It won't change the boiling points of the fuel components and you don't need the lead unless you have a spark knock problem.

I use it in every fill-up as an octane booster. As stated, it will not address any fuel percolation issue. As an added bonus, your exhaust will smell like you're running Sunoco 260.

Thanks for the reponses. I have no pinging issues so I think I will just pass on using it.
