On my 1964 coupe the right headlight is a little bit slower than the left. Espesially when closing
How are the headlights motors on your C2 Corvettes working?

they work fine and close within a second of each other, since they have plastic pivots and clean commutators.
My convertible only leaks if I drive faster than 80-85 in the rain - which I try not to do

I suppose to have the headlights to operate exact at the same time you would have to have a axel that drives both headlights

the only time the general got it right was in 83 for the C4 and in 96 for the C5. they are the only 2 vette generations that the headlights open at the same time

That is exactly how mine work and I rebuilt them last year. Well, no new parts, just a good cleaning, turned the plastic gear 180 degrees, re-greased with lithium white grease and put them back together. I think they are gang wired with the driver side getting power first and the passenger may get just a little less. Only thing I can think of wht the driver is a little faster.

But, we love them just the same

Always check the ground wire first. A 67 I just bought had one slow bucket. I found the ground screw setup on one motor was wrong. I redid the grounding in the proper order (screw, wire, star washer, bracket, motor) and both close just about exactly together. Be sure Bubba was not there ahead of you. Picture attached is of an original that appears to not have been touched since the factory installed it. Gary
