Centerforce clutch and throwout bearing. As the rpm goes up I'm getting a vibration in the pedal just as the throwout bearing hits the diaphragm. Depressing the pedal further, the vibration decreases to near nothing at the floor. At low cruise speeds you can just feel it as you go through the gears each time the pedal is depressed, but only right at the end of the free play.
I've never had one do this before. Any thoughts?
Oh, and the parts are all new.

That was my thought as well, but since I had never run across it before, I figured someone here might have.
Thanks
I have had it happen before and Pugly is right on the money. I didn't change the pressure plate because of the vibration. It didn't hurt anything in my case.
I suppose it could be a chunk out of the disc too. That could cause the fingers to be uneven.

Thanks Mike. I don't seem to have anything banging around in the bellhousing, so I doubt the disc has come apart. For now I will just take it easy and wait until this winter to pull it apart and have a look.
Just in case it is not the fingers, you might try a PP inspection through the opening where the starter goes or anywhere else that will allow you to see the PP bolts.
It only happened to me once and the vibe was so bad I dropped the bell and found that I messed up when I torqued ( duh, tightened) the PP bolts. I don't know if they rotated after it was installed or if I just forgot to tighten the correctly but two bolts were loose enough to affect the fingers. After I correctly tightened and torqued the bolts and reassembled the mess, the vibe was gone.
My LUK clutch does this. I only notice it if I engage the clutch slowly or if I don't have enough clearance. I just assumed I smacked the fingers installing the trans by myself.
