Or, you can try AC R45S. It's been reported on some engines, the extended tip of the "S" plug will hit the piston. I run the "S" plug in an engine similar to yours without any problem.
The 'S' suffix problem I had was on my 315 hp 61 piece. You should not have any problems with a 64 FI piece. Do not use a colder heat range than the 45....You may be prompted to use a R43 as the correct plug, it`s not! Unless racing it has a tendency fuel foul with normal or low speed driving.....But if you want experience in changing spark plugs with a FI Vette with all that protective crap and air cleaner use something else than Mike recommended ....
welcome to the FI world....{hint} they need to be driven and not set around in a garage or on a trailer
