If it's an original 1964 carb, the date code is three digits (3). They are year, month, and week of production. A date code of 432 is 1964, third month or March, second week of March. If the month is November the month code is A. If December, the month code is B.

If the date code has FOUR digits, it was built in the mid-70's or later (more recent). That code is Julian day of the year (3 digits) and year (last digit). So 3606 would be the 360 day of 1976 or 1986 or 1996 or 2006. You get to guess at the decade.

There's a three digit number on the face of the air horn. Normal Holley date code is deciphered as follows:

The 1st digit refers to the last digit of the calendar year
The 2nd character represents the month
The 3rd digit represents the week of the month

Example: 543

5 = 1965
4 = April
3 = 3rd week of April

The second digit uses 0 for October, A for November, B for December
