Default Horn Button

Anyone have a procedure, or trick, for installing the horn button so it works when pressing anywhere on the button. I had it working good then I installed a new turn signal switch. Now the switch works great but the horn only blows when I press the lower right corner of the button. About 4 o'clock. I have a 65 with tele. It is an original horn button.

The problem is most times the horn contact under the horn button. take it out, fold a pc of fine sandpaper slide it between the contact flange (where it mounts to the steering column) and the button mount side, do the same on all 3 sides, the steel must make good contact on all 3 spots so it can make a good ground

That's what I did to correct the problem.
