Don't know about the C-2 Hurst shifters with the replacement/stock looking handle but on the C-1's using that set-up there is an obvious difference. The handle is too tall and just doesn't look right.
I seem to recall forum discussions of using a muncie look-alike hurst shifter. Can anyone point me to the source of supply and part number? Thanks,
William,
ZIP has this one for your '65...64-67 4-spd Bolt-On Shifter Shaft

The reverse lock out is spring loaded like the original, but does not actually lock reverse out.

So what you guys are saying is that the repro version of the original with the metal spring around the hole will allow it to stretch and fit snug over a rectange Hurst shifter. Right? Hope so because I really like the way it doesn't stick up like other boots.....looks neat and tidy.

If your Hurst shifter has a handle attached with two bolts, the "look-alike" reproduction levers shown above will bolt right on. If your existing Hurst is an older one where the lever is welded on, they won't.
