Default Help decoding a block stamping.
Found a motor with this stamping. VO906 HF . What is it from??? Dave

Actually, since it has a "V" prefix, which started in 1967, it rules out 2 of the possibilities. It's a 68 or 78 350, not from a Corvette.

"HF" was also used for '67-'68 327/275hp automatics in full-size pass. cars; what's the block casting number and casting date?
