Default L72, 427 engine

I have my eye on a 1969 L72, 425HP, 427 big block. It's been rebuilt and ready to run. All the numbers, block, heads, intake etc check out with Chevy by the numbers book as being a Camaro COPO engine. But i have no idea what it's worth. Tried e bay & Craig's list but they don't have anything like a vintage big block listed. So anyone have any ideas on what a L72 is worth? Thanks
(oh, this might be a duplicate post as i tried this earlier but couldn't get it to post!)

Its real value with the serial number is to the car it came out of. Otherwise its a high horsepower street rod engine....That is unless it dont have a vin number stamped on its pad and only the Tonawanda 427 ID letters and numbers. But the trend is to 540`s for hot rods not the 427`s...Still a good engine however with whatever is on the pad...I have one in one of my Camaros.....

Would you please explain how you determined its a camaro COPO engine vs any other chevrolet model ? I was never able to figure this out. For all I know this could have come out of an Impala wagon with a tow package.
