is there any trick to removing the old windshield? i have a new gasket and glass i want to put in mine as soon as it gets back from the painter. i guess i can cut out what is there but i want to make sure i do not harm the new paint.
i also have to install all new weatherstripping. i thought i read somewhere that i can get glue plus an accelerator that i can use and just have to push the weatherstripping in place. my doors and all are on the car so i was looking for a way it would stay in place while i put it around the door. i thought about using really small patches of 3m body trim tape or carpet tape to hold it in place while the glue sets up but i figure you guys know the best way. any help would be appreciated.
