Sorry Jeff about not getting back with you on the clutch pedal. I did all I could and still didn't get it so I'm having a mechanic friend look at it this weekend. Maybe I've looked at it too long
Another problem (one of many) is my trunk is raised up on one side too far. Is there any adjustment to lower on one side?
If you're talking about the back edge (latch side), then you need to adjust your catch bar. If it's too far left or right, it will "push" one side of the trunk lid upward. So, you need to adjust the "U' shaped catch on the trunk lid, for closed postition (up and down), AND centering position (left and right).
On the driver side front upper corner of the trunk lid, left of the hinge tower and in the curved part, the lid stands higher.
I know the springs on the towers are for other purposes and the tower is bonded to the body, so I don't see anyway to adjust down.
Hope this explains my problem a little better.
Thanks in advance.
I'm also having trunk lid adjustment problems. The edge of the lid closest to the seats is too high, especially right in the middle. Do I have to adjust the tower springs to lower the deck?

No. Put a shim between the hinge and the deck lid inner panel at the single rearward hinge-to-lid attaching bolt on both sides; that will lower the front edge of the lid. Corvette Central sells half-shims just for that purpose.
