Default Ultimate fake?

I'll admit it, I've grown cynical about big block mid-years. The rumors, the fakes, "documented" original drivetains, the artificially aged "original" tank stickers, eBay repros trading for more than they're listed in the catalogues, cars that are never driven but appear at every show, etc, etc, etc. I've decided to come up with the ultimate fake C1/C2 to bring to the next Barrett Jackson auction. Let me know if I've missed anything:

Its a 1967 split window grand sport roadster, 396ci/430hp alluminum head,
L-88, tri-power fuelie, fawn beige with silver hood stinger and black coves,
Z-06 package, F-41 suspension, power windows, power brakes, power top, power antenna, power steering, 4-wheel disc big brake option, radio delete with deluxe AM/FM/6-cd changer, heater delete, 7:11 posi rear, leather, headrests, telescopic, shoulder harnesses, both tops, teak wheel, knock offs, gold redlines, tinted seats, intelligence delete, California black plate, 1 owner (Zora), tank sticker, POP, owner history back to 1951, 6 time NCRS Supremo Flight, Dumbtov, Sit & Spin Award, raced by Roger Penske, Hap Sharp, Bob Bondurant, Dave MacDonald, Carroll Shelby, Dick Guldstrand, Mario Andretti, Michael Schumacker, Jackie Stuart, and Junior. Zero miles on a frame off restoration performed in zero gravity on the Shuttle during its last trip to fix the Hubble telescope. Found in a barn in Northern Wisconsin where its sat unmolested since the original owner stormed the beaches at Normandy. Serious inquiries only, last 3 years W-2 required in order to bid. Located at a small dealership in Ohio (over 150 others available too).

What do you think? and, yes, I've taken my medicine.........

I don't remember the factory option number for a rollcage like that one. Airbags, too! Interesting!!

Mac- its a documented original drivetrain with affadavits from the only owner that the only things he changed were the rear end, the Muncie, and the block. In the case of the block he couldn't find a correctly date-casted version so he shaved off the original numbers and put the correct ones on with a soldering iron. He put his phone number on the engine pad.

Forgot to mention- has its original non DOT tires with the original air in them and all of the original fluids.

Nice paint job, despite the zero grav resto. Is that base/clear laquor??

When I read those affidavits, I was a bit surprised to find the notary was Honest Abe Lincoln. Now, I thought the 16th president died April 14, 1865, so it was pleasant surprise to know he was still alive and practising law.

Original air in the tires? Hot air, I'm betting!

You forgot to add 'One of only three known to exist (one has been destroyed).'

I think I heard about a car that is something like that. It was a big tank '67 and supposedly built for zora. It belonged to a guy named Dick Carr who once worked for Holley carburetor and also had something to do with old airplanes and once owned a DeTomaso Vallelunga.

I think he found Zora's Croix de Guerre in it from the time he shot down that Junkers bomber in the dogfight over the Cote d'Azur

Well done! I kept thinking of options, checked.... and you had them! But any serious ad should begin with the phrase, "All number match".

BTW, I am going to point this post out to C3 - people deserve to see this. Why do you denigrate your accomplishment with the word, "fake" ??? That kind of ruins it for me.... :) MJ

This is funny because yesterday in the mail I received a solicitation to buy raffle tickets on a '64 Stingray with a numbers matching 454!
