Default 1963 to 1982 frames?

I had seen a web site that showed all the differences between the frames over the years. I cant find it, does anybody know which web site it was on?

You could search the archives here for frame swapping info...thats what I did when I bought a 79 roller to replace my '66 rotted frame, and convert to disc brakes. There are pdf's for each year, and you can compare them yourself.

I have some pdf's listing the chassis dimensions, body mounts locations etc. Basically the later the frame the more stuff changed....

The link is useful but somewhat incomplete, like for the frame horns for bumper mounting. Also for the body mounts that all move!

Dimensions are in the Chassis Service manual for each year...and have been posted before

Uh, the 66 had 4 wheel disc brakes. A rotten frame I can understand though.

Thanks for the info, I will watch this closely as I too have a rotten 66 frame and a solid 78 frame waiting to be cut and pasted into my 66.
Correction after viewing these files, my extra frame purchased as a 78 is actually a 68-73 frame. It had a factory fuel line including a return line so I suspect 71-73. Any opinion's on that?
