Default Three deuce set up $$??

I know a guy with a complete smallblock 3X2 set up that's been sitting in his garage for 20 years. He used to drag race a 60 with a 283, and this setup. Don't know the make of man or carb, but what do you think it's worth as it sits? Thinking about my 56 Belair nostalgia motor. I've already got the Fuzzy dice, salt flat full discs, skunk tail, ***** lure lights, old time Grant spoke wheel, purple dots, the whole trip. Thanks, K

See if its the vette/holley version...than who knows??...otherwise about $150, figuring you have to rebuild everything!

Make sure its got all the linkages, too!

you didn't mention: Lake pipes, or moon eyes decal. Sound like the Tri Duce set-up would be just the right topping.

I also have a friend with a tri power setup for a small block that he used to run on a 350 motor in his 66 (which is now powered by a 509 putting out 600 hp on the dyno). He won't sell it at all. He turned down $1,500.00 US from a guy who saw it sitting on the shelf in the garage.

I would not have turned down that money myself.

If you can pick up the setup you are speaking of for $250.00 or less buy it for garage art and hang it on the wall. GREAT conversation piece.

Since these were never an OEM option for the SB Chevrolet, I would think that demand would be really limited. You can buy new Stromberg 94 or 97s for around $150.00 a piece. Assume the carbs that he has would need a total rebuild. I think $150-$250 is the outside number. Does he have the linkage? That might be a critical factor in pricing.

That's what we used to call them! Little purple lights that went inside the upper corners of the windshield, so at night you saw these two little lights coming towards you. I guess the name came from turning them on to attract girls at night, however I have no personal knowledge about said subject.....!

You can buy new manifolds for about $300. There are also a couple of places that you can get multi carb complete set-ups new.

I found one of the multi-carb sites. http://www.vintagespeed.com/ It can give you an idea on pricing.
