Never seen it before, very cool. Pretty indulgent personal playground! That place should be open to the public more than it is, I'd love to tour around in there. Guy must have buckets of $$$$$. Thanks for posting. K

I'm pretty sure that's the museum owned and built by the guy who shows up at Barrett Jackson with his poodle, bidding from the balconies.

Edit: Yep, there he is at 2:47

Thanks for the post. What a place!

Just one question: how does a mechanic get to that point?

Jeff,

If you watched all 3 Videos, you would know you are correct. Dillinger is the dog's name. He's the only dog allowed and has his on Badge

He owns car dealerships now. So the question becomes - how do you work your way up to being the owner?

He certainly hasn't lost his accent and seems he'd be a natural for one the the HBO series.

But to your question, if you're Tom Benson, owner of the Saints, you marry the daughter of the owner of the dealerships.

From what's in the Video, he's into commercial real estate too.

How you start going from a mechanic to a multi millionaire is by smarts and willingness to take risks.

I know number of people that started with nothing and made themselves millionaires.

Know one young man in his 30s that did it in grass like carpet....LOL Lives in same town as Grey Ghost does.

I loaned a 21 year old kid $1,000.00 in 1972 to open a service station. He busted his butt and worth was $2,000,000.00+ back in 1996.

Yeah, eventually I made it through the 9 minute long video and saw both the guy, and his dog.

Staluppi also owns a yacht company. His partner was the one that got posted here some time back via third party about his Corvette.

Poorhousenext - yep, carpet made many around here wealthy (not me though). Carpet Capital of the world. Many started out by putting a tufting machine in an old chicken house and cranking it out. I still have some of the original bed spreads from the old mills. Was invited to see Ed Weavers collection (before he passed). Didn't know who he was (owned Diamond Carpet Mills). Ed was a country boy/redneck that made millions in carpet. He collected Bugattis, Duesenbergs, muscle cars, and a Corvette of every year. The indoor stadium field carpet is big these days. Also area rug imports.

Well with a dog named after a famous American gangster, Dillinger, I'd say something not on the up and up. And, he obviously needed somewhere to dump tons of 'cash', if you know what I mean............!
Maybe that's why it's not open to the public (read IRA).
