If I remember correctly, you should be about ready to start replacement of the engine in your 64 around the 1st of Nov in your quest to rejuvenate it.
Ran into another Orange 64 at Crossroads show. I know you mentioned at later date of painting your car one of the Corvette Orange Colors. Thought this one might help keep your spirits up while waiting to get that done.
There weren't many cars in the show, but this orange one stood out from all the rest. It's Burnt Orange color made the car pop compared to the other couple of Mid Years in the show. I think you will be happy painting yours a Dark Orange too.
Think you can pictures yours in Orange...

I saw that one at the Morristown show as well. Interesting front end with the light set up and no bumpers. Dissappointing show though. Wish I had brought my car.

Hey guy's, Thanks for remembering me, sure was surprised to see my forum name in the header, yes the teardown time is getting close. Made another Summit Racing order last night and spent 360.00 at a local auto parts store yesterday afternoon.
I do like the POP of the orange, I really appreciate you taking the time to post the pics, I have not seen this car before. I am planning on going with Atomic Orange or something very close, however the paint job will probably not happen until 11/2011. This will give me and the buddy's time to get the 6.0 motor running, tuned and approx 25-30k on it in a year.
Thanks again for the post
