Default Headliner differances

Can anyone tell me the differance among the C2 years headliners? Could you use say a 1965 on a 1963? Didn't the 1967 have a recess for the sunvisors but could it be used on other years also, non NCRS of course. Thanks for any help, Hal

Not sure the difference exactly, but yes the 67 had a recess for the visors. They do list 63-64 as the same, but separate for 65 and 66. Maybe someone else will also have more info, as to the exact reason, hope this helps a little.

63 and 64 had liner that was fibrous material and relatively hard. I don't know if the change to the soft vinyl came at the model year change in 65 or later, but the later style through 67 were soft padded vinyl. The 67 had the indention's for the visors.

65 had no sunvisor indents and was make form a hard textured material but is very lightweight. I doubt the headliner weights 2 lbs.
