I am looking for a Carter WCFB carb for a 1965 250 HP car. Are these available anywhere? Used or rebuildable would be ok. Thanks in advance.

That would be the 6-1672 air horn with a 0-1465 body and 1-1579 base, typically tagged 3696S or 3697S. They ARE around but you'll have to look for something decent. Here are two of them cobbled together in a dual quad configuration (these are SINGLE application carbs repurposed for drag racing): http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SBC-G...-/140476901829

BERETTA,
I have one from a '64 250 327. Not sure of it's condition, but it's all there and the throttle shafts are not froze. This carb has some corrision, and has been glass beaded. If you want "show" this is not what you want. Thirty bucks plus postage from 87043. I can get pics tomorrow. Bill

Check E-Bay. They are on there often. Cores usually go for less than $25 - $50, working carbs that probably need nothing more than a refresh kit go for less than $100.

Stay away from Chicago Corvettes or "graygracy" on E-Bay (one and the same). They are the biggest rip-off artists around. Do a search.
