Rim Size

A buddy of mine has a set of corvette rally rims I believe from a c3 but they are 15*8 rims and the tire size is 235/60/15. Can I use this on my 66 coupe which has offset trailing arms. Is anyone using this size tire or bigger without any body modifications. I like the look of the rims but would maybe step up to 255/60/15 if possible. Thanks guys. Rich

I don't think so. The 235s will fit, but not on those rims. The backspacing is wrong, they're going to hit the fenders. But....bolt them onto your car and give them a try.
