Hi,
When cranking gas comes out through the vent brass screen on top of fuel bowl?
I do not have a lot of experience with these units so I am looking for some input, the unit is a 900R.
Thanks
AE

Sounds like the needle and seat are not shutting off fuel flow when the bowl fills.
This could be that the needle and seat themselves need to be replaced or it could be that the float has developed a leak (such that it sinks instead of, well, "floating").
Either way the FI unit needs work and you shouldn't try running the engine until it's been repaired.
Good call Jim, changed needle and seat and checked float adjusment, that fixed it, fired right up and no flooding or leaks runs nice. Thanks for the help.
