On one hand I give the guys kudos for the design and building on the car. On the other hand PLEASE don't call it a Corvette. But, then again, what do you expect from a boat builder?
All in all, it looks like a nicely done vehicle. It isn't Corvette, though.
I think the Lencos are stack-able, so each added module means one more shifter and another gear ratio, and you only have to operate each lever once, one way for upshift, and the opposite way for down shift.

It probably cost that much and more to build these cars, although it will be hard to find a buyer with the came taste as the builder. The roof line and suicide doors remind me of an early Ford coupe. Interesting!
Since they have included the disclaimer "No Corvettes were injured in the manufacture of this vehicle" I can accept them as a well-done custom car. While this rod is not to my liking, they ARE quite elaborate and radical.
I'd much rather see this than someone hack up an actual real Vette to make something similar.

They obviously put many, many hours into these cars. Unfortunately, they are confusing activity with accomplishment. They are poorly designed to put it mildly
They look like a "pro-street" version of purpose built drag cars. Almost like a built for the street funny car body. You just don't see too many drag racers going with a Paul Atkins interior though which I'm sure is helping to drive that 80K price tag. Lots of work but not my taste.
Also appreciate the craftsmanship involved. Perhaps an acquired taste with this kind of build (for some). The back roof line kinda has a '50 Jimmy feel to it.
