Just as an FYI, the one on the right was used in all Corvettes from 64 through 76. That is unless they made another change to the tab during that period, that I wasn't aware of.
I never knew there was a difference...Of course, my Corvette being a "split window parts car" I never had the right one..
I have the original "Split Window Parts Car", and I can prove it. Check out my license plate frame.

The one piece tab ones are tough to find.
And you answered my question about the usage of that ashtray..... 64 thru 76. I was unsure when they quit using it. Thanks for the info.
