yes the white stripe on floor on stage they have on camera side of the car is not there for saftey`s sake ,with the lights that stripe makes any car look better , overall a great show to watch on TV .hell it brought me back to the corvette hobby ! rule search out down to erath seller and save 80 K .enjoy and preserve best as possible !
They have now reached a new low. All the B.S. about an ambulance that "may" have transported JFK long after his death. No facts, just guesses about the history. I'm sure some idiot will pay stupid money for it. What a total embarrassment to the car hobby.
Update: $120K for an UNDOCUMENTED station wagon with a light on top. Some people are just plain STUPID.

What's going to happen if they find out the real one was crushed? Is Barrett-Jackson then liable?
I'm thinking maybe I should promote a "Port-a-Potti" that may have been in the state of Texas on that terrible day and I'm thinking that there is a HIGHLY UNLIKELY possibilty that the "alleged ambulance" did in fact , drive past this very toilet at some point in it's life. Opening bid -$50K not including shipping OR cleaning. Disclaimer - this item will probably be proven to be a total fake and therefore you're ****-OUTTA-LUCK.
you know what BJ stands for and if you want your stuff on stage longer than it normally alloted that is what it probably takes to get itanyway good show to see lots of muscle cars etc. at one place ....and by the way that jfk ambulance is very likely fake since real one reported crushed and navy guy has lots of pictures to prove as well as documentation to that fact...money is what runs everything in life, don't believe it, BJ is perfect example

In the lead up to the sale they were very explicit in what documentation was provided with the car. One was the letter stating it was destroyed. And lot of docs from the government stating the car was actually used. Sure seemed upfront on what they were selling to me.
Anyone see the 63 mid-engine go for $155K? Rather interesting looking very custom car.

That '63 was really something. Quite an engineering achievement with the mid-engine concept, the rear deck engine access hood raising, and the slide out doors. . . . WILD!
A '32 custom rod just went for 315K. . . .. Seems folks haven't run out of money yet! . .
Between 6:30pm and 7:30pm EST, a '57 Vette went through with - what I heard - a 427ci...then he said "received NCRS DUNTOV Award".
I don't know "zip" about NCRS, but aren't vehicles required to be "bone stock" to receive awards?
What I loved was that 61 Impala with the V12 BMW drivetrain. It was a wild green and a "kid" bought it that looked no older than his early 20's for $100k.
Yeh, Rick was buying up and stocking up. It looked like he was outdoing Ron Pratt. At the begining of the week Mike Joy or Matt Stone said Rick brought a truck load too sell. I guess he did and had the room to take new stock home. Nice too have that kind of $$$$. I would love to see the collection these two men have. I understand Pratt's collection is not open to the public, don't know about Hendricks. Dennis
