chrome question
The other 'chrome' thread making the rounds piqued my interest as I'm also considering a chrome redo for my bumpers.
I received a quote for 'triple plate show chrome finish'. Is 'show chrome' the level of finish one usually expects to receive when having the bumpers replated?. My car will be a driver.
Is show chrome the way to go, even for a driver car?

Show chrome will last much longer and looks better. No defects should show at all with show chrome. With "rack" plating no effort is made to make a flawless looking piece. Keep in mind that once you do a piece in show chrome, all the rest of the chrome on the car will not look as good !
