Found this in the Drag Racing section, thought some of you might enjoy, maybe even remember some of the cars. And.................how 'bout ole George T and the Destroyers?????
Great video. This video was posted by fellow CF member Duntovo97 and racer in our North Jersey Outlaw series for old school solid axle vettes, back in 2008. Very cool and has some of our current racers in it. Enjoy. He has two other videos also.

Look at those people abusing their Corvettes like that. What a waste of resources and abuse of equipment. Shame on them.
They should have been matching their numbers, polishing their lug nuts, and singing Kumbaya.....
Duntov-097, man what a jerk that guy was. Glad he's gone.
You are right, times two. I heard he is the most banned person on this site and bought an original 57 vette and turned it into a Resto rod/ drag car. I will have to check the NJO rules to see if he can be punished some how.
Used to drag race years ago. Found memories. Certainly is an abuse of machinery but it's hard to describe the thrill until you've been in a ride that can launch off a dead stop and fly for a few feet.

Thanks for the post, I had one and in the day it was normal to get one to go fast.
The flash back was great.
I do have a org. 67 now but would not give up the memories.
