My headlight bezel's are rusted pretty bad, in fact through in several places. After searching Zip's, Ecklers, LiC, it appears that the replacement panels are for late 63-67. They are not drilled for the front screws. Can these panels be drilled to fit or is there a source for the correct part? My buckets are the fiberglass style btw. Thanks
Yes you can drill them and fill the side holes, use your current bezel's for a pattern. If your vin# is over 14600 you can use the 2nd style bezel (no fill or drill) and a fyi, 63's had glass buckets to about Vin# 2100.
I've never seen what I knew to be an orignal car, with metal buckets.
The bezels for the 63 fiberglass buckets are not being repro-ed.
A friend of mine bought 5 63 bezels at Kissimme this past weekend. He deals in used parts and was there to shop for parts to sell. I don't know if he needed them to complete some headlight sets, or if he will sell them separate. I drove down, while he flew there. Since I had my truck and trailer, I brought back much of what he bought, but the bezels he put in a suite case. He's flying back tomorrow, I'll call him then, to see if they're for sale, and PM you his info if they are.
