Default Master cylinder date codes
I have 2 master cylinders with "509" casting numbers. One has 037 stamped on the left front spot where the line goes and the other has 6300.

Are these date codes? If so what's the decoding?

'67 509 castings weren't date-stamped at the outlets, but many '68 509 castings were; very tiny stamps, Julian date codes.
