how can i find out what month a 1956 vette was built

Interiour is red . cove is white , car is red
some one has repainted it a darker red than original but in the trunk it is venitian Red
This is what I think it is

Yes, Venetian Red would be the exterior and interior colors, Polo White would be the coves.

there was not that many options in 56. it should be easy to tell what options it left the factory with. you should look into getting the NCRS judging manual for the car.

The VIN tag will not be helpful in determining the option that came on the car.

NCRS.org. go to there online store. there are other good books you should check out as well. the Nolan Adams book would be another great book
