64 and 66 dash clusters

Who is good and aside from dropping the steering column is there anything waiting in the wings to give me trouble removing?

I took my cluster out and now getting ready to to put it back in next week. Be ready to do some unexpected "while I'm in there" things. I found a melted clock plug and a burnt dash harness. So guess what. I put in a new dash harness "while I was in there". Do your clock too.
I followed the 2 part article from John Z. Great pictures and right on step by step instructions coming out, while it's out being restored and then going back in. Take pictures along the way. A lot of pictures. Ask questions here and use those pictures. Soooo much help here from guys who have done this before.
My cluster and clock was done by Bill Harrison in Jupiter, Florida.

Had taillights, courtesy lights, radio worked, clock worked. Dash ground was fresh.
I used a DVOM to check fuses that clearly hadn't blown; I've been told fuses CAN appear to be fine and still have a separation inside the glass. All OK. Made a quick jumper wire to backfeed power to the closest dash light I could pop off the cluster(which was the bottom of the amp meter), and all the lights worked.
I decided to see if I had 12 V on the male spades in the fusebox that spur off to the right of the dash lights fuse that should have fused power, and they didn't! So I split the fuse box apart and found corrosion behind that circuit. I had 12 V at both ends of the fuse when measured with a DVOM ON the fuse, not on the clips though.
Dismantled the clips that holds the fuse, wirewheeled it, and all is good.
Would appreciate a little more information on how to find the article.
Thanks
