Default C1 capacitor question
Does the wire from capacitor which sits on top of the C1 (1960) generator connect to the field or armature post of the generator?

Well if you get the proper red circular decal (shown in the picture) its hard to go wrong. Its telling you to NOT connect the by-pass condenser (capacitor) here!
