Spare tire...additional thoughts
Based on past CF info I have tested the fit of a T155/90D16 temporary spare...perfect fit. 
I know this next thought is a minor one, but it should be considered. Many of us run a wider/larger tire/wheel combination that won't fit in the carrier, hence the use of the temp spare. If you have a flat, put the temp on, you most likley can't get the flat in the carrier. With a coupe the flat will go in the back as you and your passenger (read wife) get the flat fixed. Those of us with a conv and a little less space, especially if we are traveling and more so if we have the top down will need to be even more creative. 
Just some thoughts for us.

Probably have to put the top up and store it back there. I keep some plastic sheeting in my jack compartment just in case that happens to protect the carpet.
