I'm even considering that to get the '61 in the perfect spot under the hardtop hoist when I want to put it on/off.

Not sure I want to know what a "Nancy garage" is...
A Nancy garage is a fancy garage ! It's a rhyming thing us Aussies do.

Yeah - well I had a brief vision of a hot pink Mini-Cooper in Stewy's garage..but it quickly passed.

Paul - I might have known you would come up with a true "Red Green" solution to the tennis ball technique.

Put it this way my cleaning duties are first vac and mop the garage then the house. If I'm to busy I only do the garage. Does that sound right

I just mark the sill plate with a chalk line or pick a spot on it (end of a logo) to line up with the control joint which is usually about half way or close enough and I know I'm in deep, as I'm trying to maximize the room in front of the car too. This assumes that you can get the vehicle reasonably close to it horizontal position but that's another problem. Yes I've got to remark after a thorough wash but there's usually enough chalk left in the cracks to tell where it goes.
I've got those red beams that plug into the door opener bulb outlet and that works accuratly as long as they don't move. How they move is another question and it's always my wife's that moves. Go figure!
I like the chalk................Frank
