I have the dash out, and was thinking of repainting the dash.
There's some red overspray on the pads, and the rest of the dash could use some re-freshining especially where the rivets are.
It looks like the pads are a slightly darker color than the center section, as is the speaker grill. Is this normal?
Thanks
Jim

It would help to know the model year and interior color. In my '65 (white/blue interior), the center section is darker than the pads, but I've been told that this is incorrect and that the colors should match. Researching this further is on my (long) to-do list.
Use the dye from WILLCOX it is the best are one of them and the match is 100% on man. I went from yes Black to Nassau Blue on mine and it looks like the blue just went into the black. Looks like it came that way.. Robert
" I assume you know that Nassau Blue was not a '64 color."
I'm still debating the color choice, but I'm leaning pretty strongly to Nassau. The Silver Blue doesn't contrast enough with the chrome, and frankly I see enough silver blue cars (we have a silver blue Honda) on the road. The dark blue it too dark, and I think the Nassau blue is gorgeous.
Right now, it has a poor red paint job, with blue interior......
Thanks for all the replies!
