You get so use to seeing the originals, that at first they look out of place. The more I look the better they become, great job How do they feel ride wise, way better or soso?
The seat covers came from a local Houston company called Corvette Motorsports Inc. They actually have a supplier up near you, 100% all leather. Great quality and cost.
I had a pair of 98 C5 seats that I recovered along with new bottom foam. They were simple as could be, especially compared to C2 seat cover installation.
(2) 1998 C5 seats bought on ebay 2 years ago.................. $ 400 (local, no shipping)
(2) C5 seat covers with stiching from Corvette Motorsports....$ 650 (100% all leather, on special at the Houston CorvetteChevy Expo so he might have a slightly higher price normally)
These are a good 200 - 400 cheaper than anyone. Great quaility. They do about 20 - 40 covers a month, and they limit their business to this level. Great people to work with. You'll want to contact David Johnson (Owner) @ 888-715-5349. He can stitch anything as long as he can get a digital image.
