Thanks, yes I read these. There is a real good one on the web someone posted for a 69. Is it basically the same for a c2? I pulled mine out and there not any evidence of the sealing compounds that others speak of. It was professionally installed and did not leak??
Also I was interested in detail on getting the trim to lay properly. my new clip kit came with 11 clips and my 65 only has 10 drilled holes? Starting from the center spaced about 3 inches apart and 4 additional evenly spaced to about 3 inches from the end of the lower molding. I had problems with the lower trim not clipping down tight to the strip which prompted the removal.
As suggested, I need to get out the manual, I believe the placement is indicated.

NO. The '69 design is completely different - it uses the later Thiokol/urethane adhesive-installed glass with no weatherstrip. Stick with the info in the links above and the procedure in the "Corvette Body" section of the Chassis Service Manual.
