Default Dummy ***** for dash?

So I have a 3 aftermarket switches that were installed at some point for aftermarket components I've already removed. My question, exactly what pieces are needed to install a dummy ****?

I have 2 ***** with out shafts. I presume I need the shafts, some kind of bezel, and something on the inside for the shaft to screw into?

The 2 to the left of the radio and 1 on the far right after the cig lighter.

Are dummy ***** incorrect? Should there instead be something else to fill the holes? I have pics but I don't want to bother uploading them to a pic site just to post.

Does your car have a heater? Factory Dummy ***** are hard to find and expensive. A cheap alternative is to buy headlight ***** and use them as dummys.

2 left of the radio = so you dont have a heater or wipers? and there is no hole right of the lighter

Hmm, I thought the wiper **** was the one next to the headlight ****?

Someone installed a bulb socket/switch to the right of my lighter. I guess that hole needs 2 be filled then?

Ok, no prob, I can fill it. I have to fill all the little holes from the snaps for the old tonneau cover anyway.

So are dummy ***** correct for the others? What parts are needed exactly? Thanks for the help Roy!

EDIT: Ok here is a pic of my dash currently, ignore the carpet stains, I'm going to get them removed

The wipers are the **** next to the headlights right?

For the dummy ****, look at the photo at the lower left on page 140 in Noland's book. In your Assembly Manual, Section B, sheet 4.00 shows the installation of all the dummy *****.

I think you may be wrong about that. On a '56 The wiper switch is next to the headlight switch and there is a hole for the fresh air cable next to the lighter which your '55 did not have. I've probably owned 30 or so '56-'57's over the years and they've all been configured that way.

The dash switchgear goes. L to R, Headlights, wipers, defrost/fan, heater, radio, lighter, fresh air.
