Vendor problems
I ordered a shock set -front and rear- and I was sent the proper rear set, but wrong shocks for the front. One was listed for a later model and one was a cheaper shock that what I paid for. They weren't even a matched set.
When I contacted them about the problem,(45 minuted on hold) they sent me another shock, but it was the cheaper one that shows on their web site.
I contacted them again (55 minutes on hold) and they told me to return the front shocks and they would replace them. I did that and was told the correct shocks were out of stock and wouldn't ship for a couple weeks. When I contacted them again (email, I can't sit on hold forever) they said they refunded the cost back to my account. When I checked the account, they only refunded the cost of one of correct shocks price. Frustrated at this point, I told them I would send out the rear shocks and they could refund me the cost of the set minus the one shock they already refunded.
They told me they would send me out the correct front shock - only one and I told them I had already sent them the rears and only one shock would do me no good.
Guess what? Today I got an email with a Fed Ex tracking number for one front shock.
I've been trying to resolve this for a couple months, and at this point I just want my money back.
-OK rant mode off-

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
I was ordering a bunch of parts and included the shock set while I was at it.
I am under no illusion that I need to custom order shocks, brake shoes or I need special Corvette vacuum hoses. However, it is hard to find heater box seals or an expansion tank strap at Auto Zone.
My problem is they haven't figured out that I paid for a set, and replacing only one of two wrong parts does not fix the problem. Neither does sending me another wrong part.
As they say-
Two wrongs don't make a right (but three lefts do)
