Pulley alignment
I am attempting to put the accessories on the zz4 crate engine that is going into my 66 with power steering and airconditioning. As you can see from the picture, the water pump pulley doesn't align with the crank pully. I haven't attempted the alternator or power steering pump yet. I've searched and I know there are a number of people who have put the zz4 in their midyears, I haven't seen where anyone else has had pulley alignment issues. Does anyone have any thoughts? thanks.

I would put the other accessories on and find out what is out of alignment. If it's just the crank pulley you can shim it out with a washer. If it's the water pump you might be able to have it machined to move it back some.
