hi,,,
i found teh top speaker grill, and teh chrome trim at carlisle last month, so, today, i decided to repair teh dash where it goes,,,
am i right to assume the grill goes behind teh dash, and teh chrome trim fits outside? it seems they sandwich teh fiberglas between tehm, and mount with tannerman nuts from the rear....
does this sound right? the asm shows teh grill and trim both mounting from the front, but that doesn't look right.....
anyone have any spare bottom speaker screens they want to part with?
thanks in advance ,
john
You'll need to install the upper pc from the rear, pushing the bottom center area down. The chrome trim will mount kind of flush with the dash fiberglass.
The repro lower two pcs are thicker than the originals and will be harder to bend the tabs.

Easy stuff. Take your time.
tahnks for the reply.... it would be easy, if teh dash wasn't damaged,, i spent most of teh day replacing fiberglas, and fitting the chrome trim to the front of teh dash, i had to split teh upper and lower dash panels on the flange, and refasten them correctly, so teh trim would fit flush...
i'm not interested in repro screens, i should be able to find some originals somebody wants to get rid of,,,,,
thanks again..
