Default Ignition Switch

Time for a new ignition switch for my 64.

All I can find are "replacement" switches. Does anyone know if my original lock cylinder will fit the new switch?

My dash light also fits into a slot in the back of the instrument cluster. Will this still work with the new switch?

Thanks.

The "replacement" switches can be made to work but may require slight rework of the cluster housing to lay flat - so I'm told.

I have an original 64 Delco switch (housing #650) that has been rebuilt for $95 and a new one for $120. They come with a lifetime warrenty. If your old switch has not been burnt out (the bakerlite on the back is OK and not fried) I'll buy it for $20.

Thanks, but, that's the same "replacement" everyone is selling.
