Were engine lift brackets used on a 59 283? If so, where are they located and does anyone have pics?

Not used but you could put the brackets on your engine using existing bolt locations.

Thanks. I'm having a motor built for my 59 and the builder wanted to know if lift brackets were used and if so, where. Now I know. Thanks

I saved the ones off my 72 k5 blazer have done many motors with them but the 61 vette motor is a different animal use the tilt bracket if you can !

Lifting brackets didn't start until '68-'69.
